Exercise 7.1

1. The letter writers argument is about how the way the art is depicted of the politicians, and how he believes it is unpatriotic.
2. I agree, because the artist who did draw that does not have first hand solider experience, so it can come off unpatriotic to one who has.
3. Art and politics relationships is a tough thing, because the politician hasn't been in the writers shoes, and the same with the artist. Its hard to depict something that you don't know much about.

                                                                 Steroids in Sports.




Steroids have been a major problem in many sports. The NFL along with the MLB have the largest percentage of athletes taking steroids to enhance there playing performance. The big mystery these organizations have had is how to stop players from taking them, and get the use out of there leagues. Should any player who tests positive for steroids be let go and fined? That is when it gets interesting, because they do not want to fire the players that bring in the most revenue. This issue is important if you enjoy watching or playing sports, Because if the trend continues and gets worse you will see more and more high school players taking steroids to try and level out the playing field. I will need to gather information on percentage of players that have been caught, and what there punishment was. I can talk to old baseball players, or football players and ask if they have taken or seen anyone take steroids.
